Larva Control

Natural Broad Spectrum Larvicide

Larva Control is a plant-derived insecticide that targets over 300 species of larvae. This product is derived from extracts of garlic and lemongrass, which are toxic to insect eggs and larva, preventing pests from reaching their adult stage. It is applicable on the leaves as a foliar spray, kills on contact or ingestion, and is fast acting. Larva Control leads a new class of bio-rational insecticides that have 0-hour REI and no toxicity restrictions.

Additional information

Application:

At the beginning of larval infestations, use 3.8 mL (3/4 tsp.) of product with one gallon (1 gal.) of water in order to dilute Larva Control. It can also be used in other quantities respecting always the dilution rate of 1:1,000 of product to water. After dilution, spray the product onto the plants leaves. In area applications, use 6.86 oz to 13.7 oz per acre of land. Do not apply prior to excessive rains since this may reduce product effectiveness.

Safety & Environmental Info:

If ingested, may cause stomach irritation. It is non-toxic to people and livestock and wont pollute water or soil. Appropriate land management practices should be used at all times with any pesticide; this material should be prevented from entering public or private water supplies (including wells) and any lake, stream, or river.

Mode of Action:

Larva Control acts as an insecticide and a repellent for crops susceptible to larval pests. After being applied on plant leaves, it will result in the target insect’s death. It works upon contact or ingestion by disrupting an insect’s development and physiology, plus acts as an anti-feedant. Larva Control can be applied as an alternative to
conventional chemicals.
